Gridded sea surface salinity data set for the Atlantic Ocean is updated until 2016.

September 2018: New data available
Data for ship Astrolabe (collected in collaboration with CSIRO and IPEV) until 5th March 2018 and for Pacific Ocean from year 2017 are included in the data base.
April 2018 : New data available
Data for ships Skogafoss (from years 2014-2015), Lavender (from year 2016) and Nuka Arctica (from August 2016 to August 2017) are included in the data base.
November 2017: New data available
Data for Pacific Ocean from year 2016 are included in the data base.
September 2017: Gridded products
Gridded products in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans are now distributed here and identified with a DOI. See “Gridded products” in the above menu bar.
